Summer may be coming to an end, but the desire to snuggle up on the sofa with a cup of cocoa and a warm blanket is just getting stronger. All you need is the right series and your evening is perfect!
We'll start with our Top 5 recommendations for this fall, but that's not all there is to discover. So here goes!
1. Tokyo Revengers - Season 3
If you haven't watched the first two seasons of Tokyo Revengers yet, it's about time! The third season Tenjiku-hen will be released on October 4, 2023. The anime is based on the manga by Ken Wakui. Season 2 only came out this January, so if you don't know the plot yet, you can check it out: The anime is about Takemichi Hanagaki, whose girlfriend Hinata is killed by a gang in Tokyo. Then he even gets pushed onto the tracks by someone - and thus travels back in time, where he tries to prevent Hinata's death. The episodes promise you lots of action and suspense!

2. Spy x Family - Season 2
Have you been following the hype of Spy x Family too? It continues on October 7, 2023! While the manga series has been running since 2019, the anime series has only been around since 2022. Wit Studio and CloverWorks are extra-busy, by the way, because another film will also follow in Japan on December 22, 2023: SPY x FAMILY CODE: White. In this anime you can accompany a somewhat different family in their action-packed everyday life: A spy, a contract killer and an adopted daughter with telepathic abilities.
3. Goblin Slayer II
Goblin Slayer has been published as a light novel as well as a manga series and has already received its first anime season in 2018. On October 7, 2023, the sequel for the fantasy world will follow. In the series, characters are often referred to by titles, such as "Goblin Slayer" or "Priestess", instead of addressing them by name. This happens in reference to role-playing games like "Dungeons & Dragons", which the fantasy creatures (dragons, goblins, etc.) are also strongly reminiscent of. In the so-called "Adventurer's Guild" there are always new missions to complete, which, however, is not always fun, but can also end very darkly.
4. Dr. Stone: New World Part 2
The third season of Dr. Stone was titled "New World" and was released in spring 2023. The second part will already follow on October 12, 2023! The big mystery of the series revolves around the fact that one day all of humanity was turned to stone by a green light. When Senku, the main character, awakens from petrification 3000 years later, he uses all his knowledge of science to try and bring humanity back to life.
5. Attack On Titan - Season 4 Finale
And also, there finally is a release date for the last part of the fourth season of Attack On Titan! On November 5, 2023 you will finally see the big finale (in Japan already on November 4). All manga readers already know the end, but for all other anime fans it remains extremely exciting! How will the end around Eren Jaeger and the Survey Corps look like? MAPPA will show us later this fall.
Of course there are many more series that will be continued or even started this fall. On September 28, the Netflix series Castlevania will continue with a new plot, and season 3 of The Rising of the Shield Hero is also eagerly awaited!
