Friday was finally the big day: Loud rock music is once again ringing out at the Nürburgring. The first bands of the Rock am Ring weekend have created an incredible atmosphere. As an official sponsor, Impericon is on the scene!
Friday was just the beginning, luckily! Given the great vibes at the festival grounds, we're fortunate that two more days are ahead of us. Of course, we've already met some of you at our Impericon stand - we look forward to seeing the rest of you on Saturday and Sunday. We have all your favorite merch with us; you just need to come and get it. If you want more live input from the Ring, be sure to check out our Instagram-Channel , where exciting festival content is being posted in the story every day.
The First Impressions
All three stages were buzzing with a great atmosphere, featuring bands and artists from various genres. Indecent Behavior had the honor of opening the festival on the Orbit Stage, heating up the alternative vibe on the grounds right from the start. Soon, the first metalcore sounds were heard at the Ring from Fit For A King on the Mandora Stage. From there, it only got louder and the fans more enthusiastic - no surprise with such a lineup! Every live show by Enter Shikari is celebrated, and Kerry King has just released his brand new solo album, whose songs thousands of fans could hear live on stage for the first time. You could also headbang to Neck Deep, Kreator, and Beartooth. But it was the headliner that really got the masses singing along. Die Ärzte put on an unforgettable show on the Utopia Stage, with hits that everyone knows. The crowd only needed to hear the first notes of “Schrei nach Liebe” and “Junge” to completely lose it.
What a Start!
A truly strong start for one of Europe's biggest rock festivals. But don't flag now, because the coming days still have incredible headliners like Green Day and Kraftklub waiting for you! There will be many more memorable moments, mosh pits, and waves of crowd surfing, we're sure of it.
