When Paul Van Doren and his partners opened the first VANS shop in 1966, no one could have guessed that they were creating a streetwear icon that would still be firmly rooted in the music scene 50 years later. But enough about the historical background, let's talk about what really matters: our VANS SHOES, in all their colors and forms.
In the same year the shop opened, Paul Van Doren and co. launched the first shoe specifically tailored to the needs of skaters: the "Hi-Top," which is still known today as the "Sk8-Hi" and has fans worldwide. Although it visually resembles the Chucks from Converse, it is much more stable. Of course, we also have the Vans Sk8-Hi!
One of the most famous Vans designs is the "Slip On." As the name suggests, you can simply slip into these low-cut shoes without laces. The Slip Ons were particularly popular during the "emo era" of the early 2000s, when they were worn by bands like My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy. The most famous design is, of course, the "Checkerboard" pattern with black and white squares. Is this your style? Then start shopping now!
Nike shoes have the "Swoosh," Adidas has its three stripes, and with the unmistakable "Jazz Stripe" on the "Old Skool" design, Vans has created a signature feature that is recognizable from afar.
As an official Vans online shop, we not only have classics like Slip On and others permanently in stock, but also special collections like the VANS Made For The Makers series. The designs are perfect for higher stress levels thanks to their particularly thick sole, water- and dirt-repellent upper material, and removable "UltraCush" insole. But Vans has long been more than just shoes: in recent years, the brand has established itself as a fixture in the streetwear sector, and with Vans logo shirts, jeans, winter jackets, etc., the range leaves nothing to be desired.
