Although not all episodes of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" Season 2 have been released yet, five out of eight episodes have already premiered. They continue to be available weekly on Prime Video, with three more new episodes dropping. Still, a trend has emerged: the sequel to the already divisive first season does not seem to be attracting as many viewers as the series did in its initial launch. However, this does not mean no one is watching: the first three episodes garnered 40 million views in just the first two weeks!

Will Amazon Release Season 3?
Even though Season 2 has reached fewer viewers so far, it still managed to make it into the Top 5 of Prime Video's charts. While many fans of the "The Lord of the Rings" films and J.R.R. Tolkien’s books expected more potential from a series of this scale, it still marks a success. This means the series will continue for now. Production is already underway not only for Season 3 but also for Seasons 4 and 5. It remains to be seen how streaming numbers will evolve in the future. In the meantime, there are three more episodes left to enjoy!
