Have you already seen the very first video interview of Sleep Token? Their drummer, II, answered some questions at Drumeo!
It has been clear for years: Sleep Token don't just give interviews here and there. They are all about the music and that's where their focus lies. So far, we have only been able to see a few answers from Sleep Token in written form. But now there is finally a video!
II As A Guest At Drumeo
II is now the first band member of Sleep Token to have given an interview in video form. At Drumeo, he not only performed some of the band's most popular songs live, but also answered a few questions about Take Me Back To Eden, his playing style, and his personal influences.
II's Favorite Drummers
Among other things, he revealed which three drummers have personally influenced him. First and foremost, he mentions Joey Jordison, the original drummer of Slipknot, who tragically passed away early in 2021. The list continues with Matt McDonough of the NU Metal band Mudvayne and finally Derek Roddy, who plays in Serpents Rise among other bands and is also known for his extremely fast style.
Can we look forward to even more video interviews from Sleep Token in the future? Maybe from III, IV or even Vessel? Only time will tell. In the meantime, you should definitely check out the entire interview with II!
