Tomorrow is the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) again; artists from numerous countries will compete against each other with their current music, this year in Malmö, Sweden. It's always exciting to see what kind of shows the bands and solo artists come up with for the big day. This year, Isaak will represent Germany with his song “Always On The Run”. But there are also several acts focusing on rock and metal, which we will introduce to you here.
Bambie Thug - Doomsday Blue (Ireland)
Bambie Thug will represent Ireland in 2024. In their show with the song “Doomsday Blue”, there are not only dance routines and costume changes but also plenty of ritual candles. Gothic metal meets industrial. Whether you like it or not, it's certainly hard to look away!
Gåte - Ulveham (Norway)
From Norway, Gåte comes to take over the stage with Folk Rock, or Folk Metal. The performance starts with emotion, but the violin and the guitar also really pick up the pace.
Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Tagi Dim (Croatia)
Baby Lasagna is the stage name of Marko Purišić, who has also played guitar for several years in the Croatian rock band Manntra. This year, the singer-songwriter and producer brings his song “Rim Tim Tagi Dim” to the ESC, along with a lot of energy. Here is the performance from the semi-final:
Megara - 11:11 (San Marino, Semi-Final)
Unfortunately, Megara was eliminated in the semi-final and will not perform their song “11:11” tomorrow evening. However, we still want to introduce you to the track because you shouldn't miss their black-pink alternative metal show!
