The upcoming month brings us new highlights from the world of Rock and Metal. Releases from several subgenres can be found in our list!

It's time for music inspiration. This April, there's new music to listen to, from Heavy Metal to Core to Hard Rock. To make sure you know where to tune in and what to check out, here are a few absolute highlights!

Korpiklaani - Rankarumpu

Supplies from Finland: Korpiklaani will release their twelfth album, Rankarumpu, on April 5, 2024! Three singles have already been released from the record: "Saunaan," "Aita," and "Oraakkelit" - you can take a sneak peek at one of them here. The band aimed to bring more tempo into the songs during production, which is why the songs are shorter compared to previous records. However, the sound is classic Korpiklaani, as heard in their early years. There is also an anti-war message included - but the mood remains cheerful, especially on songs like "Saunaan."

The Ghost Inside - Searching For Solace

We're continuing on April 19, 2024, with the release of Searching For Solace, the follow-up to The Ghost Inside's self-titled comeback album from 2020. With four singles already released, we have gotten a good insight into the sound field of this release. Starting with "Earn It" and "Death Grip" and then with the newer singles "Wash It Away" and "Split" - everything from hard to melodic parts is included.

My Dying Bride - A Mortal Binding

My Dying Bride can look back on a well-filled discography since their start in 1990, which will be expanded with the album A Mortal Binding on April 19, 2024. They have already presented us the songs "Thornwyck Hymn" and "The 2nd of Three Bells," which do justice to their name as a Doom Metal band. With dragging, dark riffs and vocal passages up to characteristic growls; the singles show a clear path for the album.

Pearl Jam - Dark Matter

Pearl Jam also joins in on the release on April 19, 2024, releasing their Rock album Dark Matter on that day. The single of the same name was already released on February 13, 2024, followed by "Running" on March 22, 2024. Just right for all fans of Hard Rock and Alternative Rock! Their twelfth album promises to be a lot of fun to listen to. The sound is harder than what they are known for so far, something to look forward to. Producer Andrew Watt (Rolling Stones, Ozzy Osbourne) receives great praise for really getting the band going in the studio.

Accept - Humanoid

The German Heavy Metal group Accept has been in the business since the 80s and continues to climb higher in the album charts. So we can be excited to see where Humanoid lands when it is released on April 26, 2024! The title track and the song "The Reckoning" offer a first impression. Get ready for some good old Metal vibes while listening - so don't miss out on the new songs!
