The wait is almost over! Six years after the legendary Finnish metal comedy "Heavy Trip," the Symphonic-Post-Apocalyptic-Reindeer-Grinding-Christ-Abusing-Extreme-War-Pagan-Fennoscandian-Metal is back. The sequel, "Heavier Trip - Road To Wacken," picks up right where the first movie left off – and it's about to get wild!

The first film, released in 2018, was all about the chaotic origins of the Finnish band Impaled Rektum and their crazy dream of playing at the Northern Damnation Festival in Norway. With plenty of metal in their hearts and chaos in their wake, Turo, Lotvonen, and Pasi overcame all kinds of obstacles. They left behind insulting villagers and angry border police, just to finally rock the festival. But what happens next?

Of course, there's even more madness in store! This time, things look bleak for our Blackened Death Metal friends. Besides dealing with their prison story, they also have to face familial and financial problems. But then comes the saving light: an invitation to Wacken Open Air!

Unfortunately, you'll have to wait a little longer – but starting on September 27th, it's finally hitting select theaters! "Heavier Trip" is a must-see for every metalhead who loves their humor as black as their corpse paint.

To pass the time, here's the trailer to get you ready for the next metal adventure:

By the way, both parts of "Heavy Trip" are directed by Juuso Laatio and Jukka Vidgren, who made their breakthrough with the first film. Their inspiration? Clearly, a love for the metal scene and all its crazy stories.
