Guns N’ Roses are coming back to the EU: the band announced a major stadium tour for 2025 today. The dates kick off in May, featuring special guests Public Enemy, Rival Sons, Sex Pistols, and Frank Carter (see full lineup below). The big surprise of the day? The final stop on the tour will bring Guns N’ Roses to Wacken Open Air 2025 as headliners, teased earlier today in the festival’s Advent calendar!
Holger Hübner, co-founder of W:O:A, shared his excitement:
"Having Guns N’ Roses play at Wacken is a dream come true. Almost 40 years ago, Thomas and I first heard the band in our friend Gösy’s basement. In the early ’90s, we stood front row as fans at their shows in Hannover and Bremen, and now we get to announce them for our own festival. It doesn’t get better than this."
Thomas Jensen added:
