All major rock and metal festivals have recently announced their first bands or even the complete lineup for 2024! Here are all the dates and a preview of a major anniversary celebration next summer!
The gloom of autumn is being brightened up with announcements from all our favorite summer festivals. We’ve already seen some incredibly strong lineups. Read on for the dates and the initial lineup information!
Impericon Festivals 2024
Naturally, the Impericon Festivals are returning next spring. We'll be traveling through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with six dates and varying lineups, ready to rock with you. We've already announced the first bands, including As I Lay Dying, While She Sleeps, August Burns Red, and Polaris. Of course, we will reveal all the other acts soon. Stay updated by following our Instagram page (@impericonde) or directly on the Impericon Festivals website, where you can also find tickets.
In addition to the festival days, next year will also feature two roadshows with August Burns Red and Dying Wish to heat up the festival season. Come join us and mosh!
Rock am Ring & Rock im Park
On November 2, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park announced their full lineup. From June 7-9, several massive bands will perform at these twin festivals, ensuring a party atmosphere with Die Ärzte, Green Day, Billy Talent, Måneskin, and Corey Taylor among the top names across three days and a total of 70 acts.
Wacken 2024
Let’s hope the fields stay dry next year so that all fans can fully enjoy the festival, which has been sold out for months. From July 31 to August 3, it will get loud on the Holy Ground with Scorpions and Amon Amarth headlining, supported by In Extremo and Blind Guardian.
Full Force 2024
From June 21-23, Ferropolis will transform into a metal paradise for the 30th anniversary of the festival. While not all headliners have been announced yet, we can look forward to headliners like Architects and bands such as Silverstein and Future Palace.
Jera On Air 2024
Just today, Jera On Air finally unveiled a large part of its eagerly awaited lineup! Check out what to expect from June 28-29! While one headliner is still to be announced, two have already been revealed along with 28 more bands. Dropkick Murphys are returning after a hugely successful show in 2023. Electric Callboy is also set to heighten the atmosphere! We're eager for the next announcement.
Vainstream Rockfest 2024
Mark your calendars for June 28-29 for Vainstream Rockfest 2024. Yes, you read that right! Next year, you can rock out in Münster for two days instead of one, with bands like Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Bury Tomorrow, and Ice Nine Kills. If you want to seize this opportunity for more relaxed Vainstream vibes, secure your tickets now!
Nova Rock 2024
Have you checked out the latest lineup from Nova Rock? Just two days ago, over 40 new bands were announced, including some major headliners! Green Day, Avenged Sevenfold, Måneskin, and Bring Me The Horizon top the list, reinforced by heavyweights like Parkway Drive, Avril Lavigne, and Alice Cooper. This promises to be an epic festival - it kicks off on June 13. From Thursday to Sunday, June 16, Nickelsdorf, Austria will be rocking!
Hurricane 2024
This list wouldn’t be complete without the Hurricane Festival, which will take place next summer from June 21-23. Want to know some of the top acts? There’s Ed Sheeran, K.I.Z., and Bring Me The Horizon, providing more than enough reason to celebrate each day! There’s no room for boredom with this lineup.

The UK is also making headlines. Download UK has finally announced its lineup. Over 80 bands will play in Donington Park from June 14-16 - and more are still to be announced! A sneak peek? The headliners include Queens Of The Stone Age, Fall Out Boy, and Avenged Sevenfold. And that's just the tip of the iceberg!
