The American metalcore band Bad Omens has been around since 2015. Their current album, The Death of Peace of Mind, has already marked a significant success. Released in February 2022, it received substantial promotion on the social media platform TikTok. The song "Just Pretend" is the undisputed hit of the album. It finally got a music video just three weeks ago.

The latest episode of the Artist Friendly Podcast was released on June 28, 2023. Among other topics, the two musicians discussed the future albums of Bad Omens. Frontman Noah Sebastian stated:
"In a way, we’re working on two records at once."
There is a hint that work is underway on "two albums simultaneously." The potential is definitely there! There's already a title for the first album: Concrete Forever, which is also the name of their announced tour. However, Sebastian has not yet provided concrete details about release dates or album content.
With two albums in the works, it's conceivable that the band might present us with concept albums. A concept album often tells a coherent story or addresses a specific theme throughout the entire tracklist. Bad Omens have already proven in the past that they can process emotional themes with their music. We remain excited!
Sebastian emphasizes that he does not want to rush anything. The duration of the album production does not matter to him, as long as the best possible result is achieved.
