Our last update was that we can expect the sequel to Arcane on the streaming platform Netflix in the fourth quarter of 2024. The animated series of the popular multiplayer game League of Legends celebrated huge success with its first season in 2021. For many fans and critics, the series was a 10/10. With an innovative style and a gripping story, you couldn't help but keep watching. And hopefully we'll do the same again with the second season!
On November 9, 2023, a new announcement trailer was presented by Netflix and brings us news about the release date of Arcane season 2. It's set for November 2024. So in exactly one year's time, it will finally start. Still a long time to go, but at least there's some concrete news!
Announcement With Official Trailer
The official announcement trailer is short and initially only shows Jinx walking into the distance against a red background, the rocket from season 1 at her side. Then we see the newly announced release date and the original announcement trailer for season 2 plays. In it, we don't see any further content from the sequel yet, but we hear the voices of familiar characters. Vi is obviously determined to continue searching for her sister despite all the arguments against it - alone. Jinx can also be heard.
If you really haven't watched the first season yet, you now have plenty of time to catch up! The series not only delivers spectacular images, but also a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The first episodes start with the origin story of Jinx and Vi, two characters from the video game by Riot Games. Anyone who loves anime, art and games should not miss this story.
