James Bond Merchandise
Shaken, not stirred. This phrase has become one of the most iconic lines in film history. In over 20 films, the suave James Bond battles villains like Le Chiffre, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, and Francisco Scaramanga, also known as the man with the golden gun. James Bond, a character created by Ian Fleming, first embarked on his adventures in 1953 in a novel. That single novel turned into 12 novels, nine short stories, and a globally successful film series. "From Russia with Love" was one of John F. Kennedy's favorite books.

A film series full of unique charm
Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig have all portrayed the brave secret agent since 1962. In 2012, the film series celebrated its 50th anniversary with the 23rd adventure titled Skyfall, featuring Daniel Craig as Bond. Incidentally, it was also the most commercially successful Bond film. In 23 films, Bond has been shot at 4662 times, seduced over 50 women—many of whom also tried to kill him. Bond has killed over 300 people, often using Q's gadgets. And of course, Bond usually drives an Aston Martin or a comparable car model and drinks his martini shaken, not stirred. The gun barrel intro remains unforgettable.
Did you know that Ian Fleming had a real-life inspiration for the character of James Bond? His good friend Wilfried "Biffy" Dunderdale, who worked for the Secret Intelligence Service in England, served as the model. Bond owes his existence to Ian Fleming's pre-wedding jitters. Fleming got cold feet shortly before his wedding and distracted himself by writing stories.
