Crystal Lake: The Rise of the Band
The band was formed in Tokyo in 2002. After some lineup changes in 2012 and 2022, Crystal Lake now consists of vocalist John Robert Centorrino, guitarists Shinya Hori and Yuddai Miyamoto, and drummer Gaku Taura. The previous singer,
Ryo Kinoshita, left the band after 10 years due to mental health issues. In 2006, four years after their formation, Crystal Lake released their first album, "Dimensions." The musicians have toured in Japan, China, South Korea, and Malaysia, as well as in Europe. The band not only headlines their own tours but also performs at numerous international festivals and as a support act for other bands, such as
