Even prior to the release of Minutes To Midnight, Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda revealed that the album would be more experimental and much less Nu-Metal than their previous records. But that doesn't mean it wasn't still filled with songs to remember. Politic lyric themes and the single "What I've Done" that was featured in the first "Transformers" movie made clear that a new Linkin Park era had begun.
