Despite their lack of live presence, the group has gained a significant level of fame since its formation, which is undoubtedly due to their three highly acclaimed albums released thus far. They can boast a large number of monthly listeners on Spotify and other platforms, even though they have never performed a single concert.Infant Annihilator songs like "Decapitation Fornication," "Motherless Miscarriage," or "Three Bastards" are probably some of the heaviest material you've ever head. Thy Art Is Murder and
Carnifex, Metalcore groups like
Bring Me The Horizon are also among the most important influences on Infant Annihilator.
The Infant Annihilator History
In 2012, former Black Tongue members Eddie Pickard (guitar) and Aaron Kitcher (drums) were looking for a suitable vocalist for their new project: Infant Annihilator. According to the members' statements, they were searching for a band name that would polarize in the same way as their music. Dan Watson was chosen as the frontman."Decapitation Fornication" became their first single and gained great popularity on the internet. In the same year, their debut album
The Palpable Leprosy Of Pollution was released. Despite some great reviews, singer Watson left the band in 2014. The reason: he did not feel like an equal member of the band, as many decisions were made without him. The search for a replacement took about 2 years, during which no new material was released. In 2016, Dickie Allen joined as a suitable replacement. The second album,
The Elysian Grandeval Galèriarch, was released in the same year and made it onto the Billboard charts. In 2019,
The Battle Of Yaldabaoth became their third album. So far, the band has independently released all of their records.
