It's official: The Summer Slaughter Tour has announced its comeback for 2024! This marks the first tour since 2019, and the lineup will be revealed soon. Here’s everything you need to know!

Do you remember this iconic, heavy metal tour that kicked off in 2007? Every year until 2019, it offered a series of dates that really heated up the summer! The Summer Slaughter Tour even made its way to Europe in 2008. Were you there live by any chance?

After years of silence, things are about to get loud again on their channels. On March 23rd, the comeback post above was shared on Instagram, teasing the general timeframe for this year's Summer Slaughter Tour: From July to August 2024, it will travel across the USA and Canada. But there’s already another announcement on the horizon. On April 22nd, both the lineup and the tour dates are expected to be released!

In the past, the Summer Slaughter Tour was known for featuring bands from the extreme core scene as well as death metal genres. Regulars included The Faceless, Dying Fetus, and Born of Osiris, with groups like Carnifex and Cattle Decapitation also finding spots in the lineup. Whether we'll see these acts again on stage remains to be seen - it’s going to be exciting!

The Summer Slaughter Tour In Europe

The USA and Canada are already confirmed stops. But will the Summer Slaughter Tour make its way back to Europe? We certainly hope so! There was also a post featuring various national flags, with Denmark from Europe among them. Whether this hints at tour destinations or simply indicates the countries the bands hail from remains to be seen.
