After a 16-year wait, The Cure are releasing a new album! Songs Of A Lost World will drop on November 1, 2024. Their last album, 4:13 Dream, came out in 2008, and since then, music fans haven't heard much from the band. Although The Cure has toured around the world and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, this album marks a serious return to their creative output. You can already listen to their new single, "Alone," which is available with an official lyric video on YouTube.

According to the Universal Music Group:

“The songs of the album were presented during The Cure’s 90-day ‘Shows Of A Lost World’ tour in 33 countries to over 1.3 million viewers and were met with excitement from fans and critics alike.”

The album was written by The Cure’s singer Robert Smith and co-produced with British music producer Paul Corkett, who previously worked with the band on their Bloodflowers (2000) album and served as an engineer for Wild Mood Swings in 1996.
