There were already rumors, but now there are new updates from Richie Sambora himself. Listeners of a certain podcast recently learned what he has to say about his potential return to the rock band Bon Jovi!
Richie Sambora was the lead guitarist in the glam rock band Bon Jovi for a long time, until he left in 2013 and stopped performing with the band. Officially, however, his exit from the band was only announced in 2016. To this day though, fans are excited by the idea that one day he might be back on stage with Jon Bon Jovi. And there's reason to believe that!

Recently Richie Sambora was a guest on the podcast and answered some questions. Naturally, the topic of a reunion came up. When asked if a reunion with his colleagues from Bon Jovi is still a possibility, Sambora said:
"We're talking about it."
But since that isn't really enough to satisfy curiosity, he was asked about the specifics. In response, Sambora said that he is indeed in conversation with Jon Bon Jovi.
“There’s a demand out there for it, you know — especially outside of the USA.”
Back in February, there had been comments from Sambora about a reunion. At the time, he didn't give any specific info in the interview, but he already had a thoroughly positive attitude:
"I don’t think there’s any reason not to at this point.”
But then again in June, he gave a rather sobering answer when asked if it could happen anytime soon.
"Naaaah! No, not even close. Nobody asked me yet,"
So it is still unclear whether the reunion is going to happen sooner or later. Fans can continue to hope that talking will soon turn into action!
