For two years, the metalcore troupe Heaven Shall Burn from Thuringia had hardly been heard from. After their successful album VETO (2013), which already reached number 2 on the German album charts, they released their eighth studio album WANDERER on September 16, 2016. Even before the album was released, HSB held a virtual scavenger hunt. Fans could play to earn the code for a new song. Together with photographer Christian Thiele, HSB used images of mountains, landscapes, and coasts for the artwork of WANDERER.
