About BOS
Breakdown of Sanity has always impressed with their explosive mix of heavy riffs, technical precision, and captivating melodies. Their influences range from
Hardcore to Metal to Progressive elements, making their sound unmistakable. Carlo Knöpfel, Oliver Stingel, César Gonin, Thomas Rindlisbacher, and Sandro Keusen came together in 2007 to form the band. After Sandro Keusen left the band after just one year and Christoph Gygax joined, the album
The Last Sunset was released in 2008. This was followed by support slots for bands like
The Black Dahlia Murder and
August Burns Red. The fanbase quickly grew. In 2011, the studio album
Mirrors was released. The band created a perfect balance of heavy riffs, melodic instrumental parts, and emotional vocals. They continued to showcase this skill on their subsequent albums
Perception and
Coexistence. However, in 2017 Breakdown of Sanity disbanded and played a series of farewell concerts. It seemed like the era of the band was over.
The Return To Music
In September 2020, Breakdown of Sanity actually returned with a new single called
Traces". The reactions to the work show that BOS are still hot and in demand with their music! The comeback was a true highlight for the Metalcore scene. Fans were thrilled when the band announced the new music. In 2023, another single titled
Collapse was released and even live performances at the
Impericon Festivals 2024 were announced! The band has finally fully returned to the community.
