Ready for the best news you'll hear today? Breakdown Of Sanity are back! Six years after their last show at our Impericon Festival, the Swiss metalcore band is fully returning: they will make their live comeback at the Impericon Festivals in 2024.
The Circle Closes
It was 2017 when Breakdown Of Sanity went on what was then their last tour. After a successful tour at the Impericon Festivals in the DACH region, fans had a chance to see the Swiss band live for the last time under the motto "Say Goodbye".
Their six almost sold-out concerts culminated in a final show in their home city of Bern. The possibility of a comeback was never denied; instead, they looked forward to new projects in the future.
Yet, in 2020, Breakdown Of Sanity hinted at a reunion. With the release of the single "Traces," the band ended a creative hiatus that had followed their third album released in 2016, Coexistence. This was followed by another single, "Black Smoke," in 2021.
In January 2023, Breakdown Of Sanity released their latest single "Collapse," showcasing the Swiss band's sound from its most modern angle yet. Their music still represents melodic metalcore riffs and pounding breakdowns, made even more impactful by the brutal vocals of singer Carlo Knöpfel. Whether the live comeback will also bring more singles or even a full album remains eagerly anticipated.
