Last Thursday, Twenty One Pilots kicked off their Clancy World Tour. You can find the setlist and first impressions of the concert here:
August 15th marked the start of Twenty One Pilots' world tour for their latest album, Clancy. In the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, they presented a gigantic, career-spanning setlist.
From the opener “Overcompensate” to the live debuts of “Vignette,” “Routines In The Night,” “Navigating,” “Lavish,” and “Paladin Strait,” several songs from Clancy were featured. But even old-school fans were not left out. From a shortened version of “Slowtown” (a song from the 2011 album Regional At Best, which isn’t even available on streaming services) to “Fall Away,” which was played for the first time in five years and was part of a medley on the B-stage that included “Addict With A Pen,” “Migraine,” and “Forest.” You can find the complete setlist below.
Concertgoers also reported new show elements added to the always extraordinary and meticulous live show of Twenty One Pilots. Apparently, there was a “magic trick” by Tyler during “Car Radio,” their audience platform was used during “Next Semester,” and Josh’s drum island was (quite surprisingly) used for “Paladin Strait.” The usual explosive finale of “Trees” was actually performed right in the middle of the crowd. Simply mind-blowing!
