Twenty One Pilots are not yet ready for the release of their new album, Clancy, which will now appear at the end of May. Find out why here!

Twenty One Pilots originally announced their new album, Clancy, for May 17, 2024. However, it has been postponed to a week later: the release has been moved to May 24. Why? Because Twenty One Pilots have big plans this time, and big plans need time.

Video Update From Tyler

On social media, Tyler Joseph has shared a video addressing the delay of Clancy. He explains that Twenty One Pilots need just a little more time to finish all the music videos for the new album so that they are ready for the release date. As previously announced, there will not only be music videos for the singles but for every song on the album.

"When I first told Josh [Dun, drummer] and Mark [Eshleman, collaborator] and everyone on our team that I wanted to make a music video for every song on the upcoming album Clancy, I told them it's because I love these songs and believe in them enough to pretend I'm singing each one in front of a camera. And that's what we're going to do because that's how I want to present this album."

New Single “Backslide”

Despite the delay of Clancy, we will still be presented with a new single tomorrow, April 25. "Backslide" will be released with a completed music video, directed by Josh. This should help tide us over until May.
