Linkin Park have announced that they will be releasing the previously unreleased B-side "Friendly Fire" this week! We provide the details on the song, the release date and show you the preview.
Previously, there was a teaser for a new release from Linkin Park. On social media, the band, led by Mike Shinoda, posted a short video hinting at the song "Friendly Fire", with the note:
"A new, unreleased song from the One More Light 2017 sessions."
But now there has been a concrete update, and we have learned when we can actually expect it.
When is "Friendly Fire" coming out?
The new song has been announced for February 23, 2024, so it's going out to the world in just two days. Additionally, the band has released a preview, giving us a first glimpse. You can watch the preview below on YouTube.
Since the new song comes from the recordings for the 2017 album One More Light, the vocals of Chester Bennington, who passed away a few months after the album's release, can be heard.
