This is going to be legendary! The metal pioneers Black Sabbath have announced their final concert – and it will be an event for the history books. On July 5, 2025, the grand finale will take place at Villa Park Stadium in Birmingham – the city where it all began. And the name of the show, “Back To The Beginning,” couldn’t be more fitting.

Unlike their last concert in 2017, when Black Sabbath performed without Bill Ward, the band will now reunite in its full original lineup. That means: Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward will play together for the first time in 20 years!

Ozzy Osbourne says:

“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning….time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” Ozzy Osbourne said. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”

An Unforgettable Lineup

The lineup for this event couldn’t be more perfect: In addition to Black Sabbath, bands like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Anthrax, and Mastodon will take the stage to make Black Sabbath’s farewell truly unforgettable.

But that’s not all: For this special evening, an exclusive metal supergroup has been assembled, featuring some of the biggest names in the scene:

Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), Frank Bello (Anthrax), Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Jake E Lee, Jonathan Davis (Korn), KK Downing, Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Slash, Sleep Token II (Sleep Token), Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Wolfgang Van Halen, and Zakk Wylde.

Tom Morello, serving as the event’s musical director, promises:
"This will be the greatest heavy metal show ever!"
