The Wolfsnächte Tour has finally begun – and what a start it was! Powerwolf, accompanied by the epic sounds of HammerFall and Wind Rose, transformed the Barclays Arena in Hamburg into a power metal mecca last Friday. The atmosphere in the Barclays Arena was fantastic, and fans were not only treated to hard-hitting riffs and epic anthems but also experienced a show full of pyrotechnics, lights, and unforgettable moments.
Wind Rose – The Dwarves Have Arrived!
Wind Rose opened the evening and got the crowd pumped up with their unique “Dwarven Metal” style. With heavy guitar riffs and epic Tolkien-inspired lyrics, they sent the arena into a dwarven frenzy, proving they are much more than just an opening act. Songs like “Drunken Dwarves”, “Diggy Diggy Hole” and their new anthem “Rock and Stone” were sung loudly by the crowd, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
HammerFall: Power Metal at Its Best
After Wind Rose, the Swedish power metal titans HammerFall took the stage, leaving no doubt that they were there to shake the arena. With “Avenge the Fallen” and “Brotherhood,” they captivated the audience from the very first minute. Frontman Joacim Cans impressed with his powerful voice, while the energetic guitar solos made the venue vibrate. Classics like “Hearts on Fire” and “Renegade” sent the crowd into a frenzy – in short, HammerFall was simply phenomenal!
Powerwolf: A Show Full of Pyros, Lights, and Wild Energy!
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for: Powerwolf took the stage and, from the very first song “Bless ’em With the Blade”, delivered an epic performance. With massive pyrotechnics, an impressive light show, and the powerful voice of lead singer Attila Dorn, the band captivated the entire audience, drawing them into the ultimate heavy metal mass. The arena was sent into a frenzy with songs like “Army of the Night” and “Demons Are a Girl's Best Friend” – an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
