And just like that, the last day of Rock am Ring 2023 has come to a close. What a massive Sunday it was! From a spectacular lineup, stage features, and party vibes in the crowd, here’s the last of our recaps.

The day kicked off for us with Spiritbox on the Mandora Stage, where we were treated to a powerful show and a celebrated feature by Sam Carter, the singer from Architects. Just slightly offset, Sum 41 played on the Utopia Stage, drawing in many fans. It was a chance to see the punk band live once more, especially after they recently announced their upcoming disbandment. The performance, therefore, carried a nostalgic air of celebration and farewell. As the evening approached, Turnstile got things moving with plenty to mosh about. And the party atmosphere continued throughout the evening! Machine Gun Kelly followed as the next act on the Main Stage, making the most of the sunset. Positioned against the evening sky with the setting sun, he performed “My ex’s best friend” from atop a truss. For “Maybe,” Oliver Sykes from Bring Me The Horizon joined him on stage, ramping up the anticipation for the day’s closing act.

Simultaneously, things were kicking off on the Mandora Stage with Architects, just as one would expect from the British metalcore band. The momentum continued with more heavy music from Bullet For My Valentine, who of course played hits like “Waking The Demon” and “Tears Don’t Fall.” And the headliner? Die Toten Hosen fired up the crowd on the main stage, with everyone singing along loudly; the atmosphere was electric!

However, the real finale was provided by Bring Me The Horizon, who threw an absolute party in the audience. Fans got to celebrate their new songs “Lost” and “AmEN!” live for the first time, with a new album also hinted at! Frontman Oli Sykes and the entire band brought incredible energy to the stage, which fully transferred to the fans. Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox returned to perform “Nihilist Blues” with Oli amid fog and a laser show. The final track of the day was “Can You Feel My Heart” – a perfect end to the festival.
