The first single by Bring Me The Horizon since their seperation from Jordan Fish is now online. What are the fans saying?
Just before Christmas, Bring Me The Horizon officially confirmed that their long-time bandmate Jordan Fish is no longer part of the band. Many fans, and perhaps you yourself, had suspected this for a while. Now, long-awaited new music has finally been released, marking the band's first single without their fifth member. The single "Kool-Aid" was announced in advance on social media and is now available to listen to on YouTube, Spotify, and other platforms.
The song is definitely catchy, and it's easy to imagine a mosh pit at their next concert while singing along to the lyrics.
"Drink the kool aid by the jug…"
The First Feedback
As an announcement for the single, the band had already posted a photo on Instagram showing them as a four-piece, an unusual sight. A large portion of their fans' responses reflect this - Jordan Fish is already sorely missed. However, the hype for a new single was still high. After the first listen, there were already many enthusiastic messages.
"Seriously CAN’T wait for the album! This one is another banger. Bmth never seems to miss these days."
"Omg the energy in this one is CRAZY. Probably my favorite of the new singles."
On the other hand, there are also opinions that the song is only average by Bring Me The Horizon standards. Overall, however, there has been overwhelmingly positive feedback, as with all of the band's recent singles such as "LosT", "AmEN! feat. Lil Uzi Vert and Daryl Palumbo of Glassjaw)", or "DArkSide". You should check out the song for yourself!
Currently, BMTH is working on their new album POST HUMAN: NeX GEn, which will be released in summer 2024. If you want to secure your copy of the album right away, you can already pre-order it!
