Ultraviolence is great ! Must have !!
Lana Del Rey's "UltraViolence" album is a masterpiece! The ethereal atmosphere and poetic lyrics create a captivating listening experience. Her vocals are so mesmerising and the songs have this nostalgic, dreamy vibe. It's like taking a trip to another dimension. Such a vibe! Also the service from this company was brilliant got here earlier than it was supposed to and very cheap. from her mega selling debut Born To Die, trading its loose beats and faded glamour for bleak, hard edged rock with a brutal lyrical edge. Playing with ideas of bad relationships, domestic violence and low self esteem, Lana disposes with the more cartoonish aspects of her vision, instead crafting a compelling yet deeply uncomfortable song cycle which often seems to glamourise self destructive behaviour as much as exploring its role in the wider American counter culture.

Bleak but fascinating
Lana's second LP was an abrupt turn away from her mega selling debut Born To Die, trading its loose beats and faded glamour for bleak, hard edged rock with a brutal lyrical edge. Is this a cheerful record? No it is not, but if you buy into Lana's world and are prepared to take the rough with the smooth, it's one of her best and probably the first genuinely weighty statement in a career that she built on its shoulders.
