No heavy metal band had made it into the top 20 there for 10 years. Just one album later, Volbeat cemented their standing with ROCK THE REBEL / METAL THE DEVIL reaching number 1 in Denmark. Their subsequent albums also achieved massive success, with their biggest hits being the albums BEYOND HELL / ABOVE HEAVEN and OUTLAW GENTLEMAN & SHADY LADIES. Both releases sold over a million copies.
