Hailing from the city of love aka Paris, this six-piece were founded back in 2008 - With their then lead singer Eddie Czaicki, Betraying The Martyrs were quickly able to convince critics that they weren't like every other deathcore band. Thanks to their French charm, fine modern metal, electronic parts and rough breakdowns. Shortly after the release of their first EP, they subsequently toured with the likes of Despised Icon and Whitechapel - It was only during these shows that Betraying The Martyrs met the charismatic Aaron Matts, who replaced Eddie on the mic shortly after. On their debut BREATHE IN LIFE (2011) it was clear for every deathcore fan to see that this combo were here to stay. After PHANTOM (2014) it's now time for their third album: THE RESILIENT (January 27th 2017) which is set to be their heaviest release to date and includes the single 'Won't Back Down', in which Betraying The Martyrs sing about the Paris attacks of 2015.
