This year, Terror are celebrating a milestone - 22 years of band history. On this occasion, we look back at their discography, but also ahead to upcoming live performances!
The US American Hardcore band Terror was formed in 2002 and hails from Los Angeles, California. They can now look back on 22 years of band history and a total of 11 studio albums! With their current album Pain into Power, they have already performed live around the world, including appearances at scene festivals such as Full Force and Vainstream Rockfest. But today, we look even further back!
Beginnings And Evolution
The story of Terror began with the formation of the band in LA. Frontman Scott Vogel, who had previously been active in other influential bands, started Terror with a clear vision: to bring Hardcore back to its roots, unadulterated and direct. They quickly made a name for themselves with their uncompromising energy and intense live shows. Every album, from their debut Lowest of the Low in 2003 to their latest releases, reflects their constant evolution.
Over the years, Terror have built an impressive discography. Who could forget One with the Underdogs (2004), the album that put them on the Core radar? Or Always the Hard Way (2006), which raised the bar even higher? With The Damned, The Shamed (2008) and Keepers of the Faith (2010), they solidified their status in the Hardcore scene. Live by the Code (2013) and The 25th Hour (2015) showed that Terror still carry the fire within them. And then came Total Retaliation (2018), which proved that these guys just don't stop impressing us.
In the last 22 years, Terror have achieved more than many bands dare to dream of. They have shaped the Hardcore scene, remained true to their roots, and impressed us with every album. Congratulations on 22 years full of mosh pits, circle pits, and unforgettable live shows. And the best part? They're far from finished with us!
A Look Into The Future
What does the future hold for Terror? Looking at their journey so far, all we can say is: it will be loud, it will be wild, and it will definitely be hardcore. The band has announced that they won't be slowing down in 2024 either. Starting in March, they will embark on a European Tour with Nasty as special guests, and before that they will visit Japan in February, together with Mindforce and Numb.
