Dear Impericon Community, following our announcement, we've received many questions from you. So, we've taken the time to answer your most burning questions.
1. Will next year's festival only take place in Leipzig?
Yes, next year the Impericon Festival will exclusively take place in Leipzig. This is because we want to celebrate our anniversary in our hometown. We love our April festivals; they have always been an essential part of us and our community. But for our anniversary, we want to focus on a single event and hope that many new and old fans will celebrate with us in Leipzig in June. So, come to Leipzig and celebrate 20 years of Impericon with us!
2. Why is the festival now in the summer?
The idea for a summer festival has been around for a while, but our April festivals were always a great start to the season. We want to continue this tradition. However, for our 20th anniversary, we wanted to do something very special that stands out from the spring events. That's why we deliberately chose the summer to celebrate this milestone in a special setting without intending to compete with other established festivals. Our goal is to celebrate this anniversary with as many fans, friends, and family members as possible.
3. Why are you doing an indoor festival in the summer?
The Impericon Festival has always been an indoor event, and we didn't want to change that. We find it very exciting and think it offers significant advantages:-
Weather independence: It has always been important to us to be independent of the weather. The hall protects both from heavy rain and extreme heat through an adjustable air conditioning system.

Equal conditions for all bands: An indoor festival allows every band to perform under the same conditions. This includes uniform stage sizes and avoiding sound issues caused by bad weather. Each band can showcase their performance in the dark with full use of lights and effects.

Comfortable seating: We offer walk-in seating areas that allow you to enjoy your favorite artists in comfort or just relax.

Improved infrastructure: The fixed infrastructure of the Leipzig Fair, including cloakroom and permanently installed toilets, provides significant comfort for visitors.
- Optimal transport connections: The Leipzig Fair is easily accessible, with ample parking and direct connections to bus, suburban train, and train.
Next year, there will also be an outdoor area with large open spaces where, in addition to the bands, other activities will take place. The areas will even be expanded compared to this year. So, if the weather is good, you can chill outside and come in for an atmospheric band viewing.
4. Will there be camping options?
We are currently unable to answer this question. In principle, there would be the possibility for camping, whether in tents or in the caravan area. However, it is currently planned as an urban festival without camping. If demand or need increases and we see that it is an important part for you, then we will review and try to provide solutions.
Will there be day tickets?
Yes, there will be day tickets, but the start of sales and prices are still being planned. We will inform you in time about all details. However, if the week tickets sell out before we can offer day tickets, they will not be available.
