New Cradle Of Filth Album - Including Feature
It's been a while since the announcement. So what has become of the project? Dani Filth has revealed this in an interview. First, he talks about the upcoming Cradle of Filth album: Work on it began in June 2023. This was followed by a whole series of festival appearances and a well-deserved break. In between, work on the project resumed, before a tour through America alongside Devildriver began. That's why Dani Filth explains that we'll have to be patient for a little while longer.
"The album is going to take a bit longer than usual [...], but we're hoping to release it by the end of the year."
However, his enthusiasm for the new music is already very clear. Creativity is key in this project and Cradle of Filth have some surprises in store for us!
And now to the subject of Ed Sheeran: he will be featured on this very album. According to Dani Filth, a few people have already heard the song.
"But it's what you imagine - it's Cradle Of Filth and it's Ed Sheeran. [...] I think it will surprise a lot of people."
How exactly this combination of Black Metal and Pop will turn out is anyone's guess for now. We are all the more excited about the album, which the band hopes to release this year.
