Captain America: Brave New World
Captain America is back with a new lead! Sam Wilson has taken on the title of Captain America, and while this isn’t his first appearance in Marvel films, things are getting serious now. After Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson officially inherited the shield, he steps into the role as the new Cap in the upcoming MCU film Captain America: Brave New World. With big names like Harrison Ford joining the cast, the film promises plenty of action, and Liv Tyler is also returning as Betty Ross!

Snow White (Live Action)
One of the most iconic fairy tales of all time and Disney's very first animated film, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", returns in 2025 as a live-action remake. Nearly 90 years have passed since the original premiered in 1937, making it an absolute classic from Disney's legacy. This year, a stellar cast will bring Snow White's story back to life on the big screen. Leading the lineup is Rachel Zegler, known for her role as Lucy Gray in "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes". Joining her are Gal Gadot (known for Wonder Woman) as the Evil Queen, Martin Klebba (Pirates of the Caribbean) as Grumpy, and many other familiar faces!

A Minecraft Movie
A Minecraft movie starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa? Yes, it's going to be wild. Imagine being suddenly transported into a fantasy world like the one in the Minecraft video game, and having to figure out how to survive. That's exactly what happens to the characters in this film: Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison, played by Jason Momoa, along with Henry, Natalie, and Dawn. They encounter Steve, portrayed by Jack Black, who’s already well-versed in navigating this blocky world. But can they band together to fight the evil threatening this pixelated universe?

Until Dawn
This spring brings a new game adaptation in the horror genre with "Until Dawn". The trailer reveals quite a bit about the storyline, and it’s clear that this won’t be a retelling of the game’s plot. Fans of the game will certainly recognize some elements, but the story stands on its own. Lilo & Stitch (Live Action)
For many, it’s a childhood Disney classic: the 2D animated film "Lilo & Stitch" originally debuted in 2002 – which might feel like ages ago, but of course not as long as something like Snow White. Now, these beloved characters are making a comeback. Maia Kealoha takes on the role of Lilo, Sydney Agudong plays Nani, and Stitch is brought to life with plenty of CGI that stays remarkably true to his 2D alien form. You probably already know "How to Train Your Dragon" as an animated film. DreamWorks released an entire trilogy and even a series, wrapping up the story at the end of the third movie. Jurassic World 4: Rebirth
The original "Jurassic World" trilogy has come to a close, but the story doesn't end there! Leading the charge is Clark Kent himself, now played by David Corenswet, alongside familiar faces like Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and even Krypto, the “Superdog.” Anticipation is high for Corenswet’s portrayal of Superman, as he steps into the role previously held by Henry Cavill, who spent ten years as the iconic hero, capturing fans’ hearts and leaving big shoes to fill.

Mortal Kombat 2
The famously brutal and graphic "Mortal Kombat" game series has been adapted multiple times since 1995, both as live-action and animation. In 2021, the first installment of the latest live-action adaptation hit theaters, and this October, the sequel follows. Fans are hopeful that the long-awaited tournament, missing from the first film, will finally make it to the big screen.
Parts of the cast are returning, including Lewis Tan as Cole Young. Joining the lineup is Karl Urban as Johnny Cage, known for his roles as Billy Butcher in "The Boys" and Éomer in "The Lord of the Rings".
