In the beginning of the 90s punk had its big revival, especially with bands like Green Day, The Offspring and NOFX. The boys which include the likes of "Fat Mike" (his real name is Michael John Burkett) was started back in 1983, but it wasn't until their 5th record PUNK IN DRUBLIC (1994) that the band got famous outside of their home state California. After the surprising success of the album, major labels and even MTV approached the band but NOFX remained true to themselves and declined every offer. Fat Mike later said in an interview: "We made the ‘Leave It Alone' video and we decided not to send it to MTV. We just didn't want to be a part of that machine, of that ‘punk wave'." Even today, PUNK IN DRUBLIC is a real punk classic - Which is why NOFX shirts belong to be part of your the merch collection.
