By now, everyone should have heard of the British rock band Sleep Token, especially since their latest album, Take Me Back To Eden, was released in May 2023. Since then, they have already appeared at several summer festivals. Now, they are re-releasing their first two albums in various vinyl editions!
The increasingly popular and well-known band Sleep Token hails from London and was formed in 2016. At performances, all band members are always masked, as they do not want to reveal their identities. This applies not only to their appearances but also to their names. The group's singer is known under the pseudonym “Vessel,” while the other three members do not even have pseudonyms. There's also a story behind their band name. Frontman Vessel was visited in a dream by the ancient deity named “Sleep” who promised him fame if he would follow. Since then, the band dedicates their songs to him and refers to their concerts as rituals.
After their formation, the band initially released two EPs in consecutive years. Their first-ever single is called “Thread The Needle.”
The band's first studio album was released in 2019 under the title Sundowning - one of the albums that Sleep Token is now re-releasing as a vinyl record.

In 2021, their second album was released under the name This Place Will Become Your Tomb. The band's style combines several genres, making it difficult to pigeonhole. Instead, musical diversity is emphasized. Elements of indie rock, metalcore, and ambient can be found, offering listeners a very versatile musical experience.
