Anyone who follows Foo Fighters’ live performances has likely seen Dave Grohl’s daughter, Violet Grohl, join him on stage. She’s been performing as a vocalist since 2018, often alongside her father and the Foo Fighters. Her repertoire already includes stunning covers like “When We Were Young” by Adele and “Heart-Shaped Box” by Nirvana. Now, she’s gearing up for something original - a debut album that, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is currently in the works.

A source has praised Violet’s vocal talent during her time in the studio:

“Her vocals are tremendous. She’s very talented.”

However, no release date has been announced yet. The album is reportedly being produced by Justin Raisen, known for his work on The Collective by Kim Gordon, which was released this year. Dave Grohl expressed his admiration for Violet’s musical career in a 2021 interview with Kerrang:

"And she’s well aware that she’s the best vocalist in the Grohl family. To be her drummer is one of my life dreams.”

Following her father’s statement regarding his extramarital child, Violet temporarily deactivated her Instagram account. While her account is now active again, it remains to be seen whether we’ll hear any collaborative tracks with Dave Grohl in the near future.
