After Season 6 of the successful gangster series "Peaky Blinders", it was revealed that there would be no seventh season. However, instead of another season, fans are getting a movie produced by Netflix that will likely mark the conclusion of the Shelby family's journey. It's now been officially announced that filming has begun! Cillian Murphy, reprising his role as family head Thomas Shelby, has already been spotted on set in one of the first images with series creator Steven Knight.
In this initial shot from the production, Thomas Shelby looks noticeably older. The film's plot is set to take place after the events of Season 6, likely during World War II. Time skips are nothing new to the series, but this might be the last one...
Unfortunately, no release date has been announced yet, so we will be keeping an eye out for further news from the set. Stay tuned!
