New Slipknot Album "Look Outside Your Window" To Be Released In 2024

If you've heard of this record before, you may be skeptical at first. After all, the album was recorded back in 2008 during the "All Hope Is Gone" era and should have been released long ago. But this time Corey Taylor has quite a bit to say about why such delays occurred!

If you've heard of this record before, you may be skeptical at first. After all, the album was recorded back in 2008 during the "All Hope Is Gone" era and should have been released long ago. But this time Corey Taylor has quite a bit to say about why such delays occurred!

In 2020, Slipknot shared that the release of Look Outside Your Window was coming soon. Again in 2023, there was a statement from Clown that included a hint of a release in the near future. However, nothing has happened so far. Slipknot fans still do not know the album, although Corey Taylor himself is convinced that the album is ready for the public!

The music is so beautiful, it probably has some of my favourite melodies that I’ve done, and people are really going to dig it.

- Corey Taylor

The Slipknot singer expressed this opinion in an interview with NME. In the process, there was also some new information about a possible future release of the album.

I was talking to Clown about it the other day and he goes, ‘One of the reasons it hasn’t come out is because you keep putting shit out which keeps conflicting with when I want to release it!’ I was like, ‘F*** dude, why didn’t you tell me?’ He says, ‘F***, Taylor – you just got too much s***!’ It’s sounding like he’s got a release date that he can finally lock in and I have promised him that I won’t release anything that will ruin that. I think it’s going to be next year – finally, man!

So finally it should come to the long-awaited album release in 2024. Let's stay tuned and hope there won't be any more delays!

"Look Outside Your Window" will not sound like Slipknot

The singer makes it clear in the interview that fans have never heard sounds like this from Slipknot before. He even goes so far as to say:

People going into this thinking it sounds like ‘Slipknot’ Slipknot are so wrong.

Instead, the album is supposed to sound completely different. It was produced by band members Clown, Sid Wilson, Jim Root and Corey Taylor themselves. One more reason to continue to be excited about the result!
