There have been hopes, theories, and rumors surrounding the release date of GTA 6. Although an early 2025 date would be a dream for fans, there was speculation about whether the release might need to be postponed. Now, however, the release date for the game has been officially confirmed.
The Date Is Set
It won’t be early 2025. But rumors that the release had to be pushed to 2026 are also not true. The rumor that the Rockstar Games team was off schedule and therefore had to push back the release date has not come to pass. The game is set to release in Fall 2025 as planned. While a later delay is never completely ruled out, Take-Two has made things clear for the moment:
“Our outlook reflects a narrowing of the previously set timeframe by Rockstar Games from the calendar year 2025 to now Fall 2025 for GTA 6. We are very confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial significance of the title continue to rise.”
