Halftime shows aren’t just legendary in American football: According to the British tabloid 'The Sun', Linkin Park are set to perform at the Champions League Final 2025. The newspaper cites an anonymous insider.
According to the insider, “Linkin Park [...] have signed the contract and will perform during the halftime show. It’s a very exciting gig for them, and they’ll be playing some of their biggest hits like ‘One Step Closer’ and ‘Papercut,’ as well as new songs.” The insider added: “The show perfectly fits into the break of their current world tour, giving the band time to rest before and after the performance.”
Wondering if it all adds up? The Champions League halftime show has long been a highlight for fans worldwide. Artists like Lenny Kravitz, Imagine Dragons, and Dua Lipa have already graced this stage – and now, Linkin Park could join this impressive lineup.
Currently, Linkin Park are touring worldwide with their album From Zero and will be stopping in Germany starting in June: Hannover (June 16), Berlin (June 18), Düsseldorf (July 1), and Frankfurt (July 8 and 9). Munich is notably missing from their tour schedule – a performance at the Champions League Final on May 31 in the Allianz Arena would be the perfect place and time to kick off their German shows with something truly special for the fans.
Will Linkin Park rise to the ranks of the biggest Champions League halftime show acts? The anticipation is building, and we’re just as excited as you are!
