In 1989, Operation Ivy, a legendary band that was one of the first to combine hardcore punk and ska elements, called it quits. Guitar player and singer Tim Armstrong aswell as bass player Matt Freeman were looking for a new project and found it soon after in RANCID, a band that they formed only two years later. To date, Rancid have released eight studio records, of which they sold more than four million copies worldwide - All of them through an independent label, despite their growing success. Their biggest release to date was ...And Out Come The Wolves (1995) with famous songs like 'Roots Radicals' and 'Time Bomb'. Can Rancid repeat the success of their previous releases and top the love for their predecessor Honor Is All We Know (2014) with their next record?
