Muse quickly ascended to the
top tier of the music industry and have maintained their position for years. They have headlined the sister festivals
Rock am Ring and
Rock im Park multiple times. Alongside international top acts like
Kiss,
30 Seconds to Mars, and the
Foo Fighters, the band always made a
confident impression and held their own against regular headliners. Muse reached their commercial peak with the albums THE RESISTANCE and THE 2ND LAW, both of which spent several
weeks at number 1 on the album charts in multiple countries. They were also featured in video games, with their song "Knights Of Cydonia" being one of the more challenging tracks in Guitar Hero 3 – Legends of Rock.
