It's the year 1971. Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister gets kicked out of his band and immediately forms a new one upon returning to England. The name: Motörhead! In September 1977, they released their first album, Motörhead, which promptly entered the British album charts at number 43. The rest is history. To this day, they are considered one of the greatest bands of all time. Motörhead merch is as integral to the Metal genre as passionate headbanging. Their sound influenced numerous musical styles (Speed Metal, Thrash Metal, and even Metalcore) and bands like Metallica, Kreator, or Slayer, etc.
The mascot Snaggletooth has adorned Motörhead's band shirts for decades. The character can be found on the cover of their debut album.
