Are you eager to see more of the lineup for the Impericon Festivals 2024? You can now, right here in this article. Let's satisfy your curiosity!

We already gave a sneak peek into our lineup back in October. With the first wave, we announced some heavy hitters like While She Sleeps, Polaris, and Future Palace. Plus, the headliner: As I Lay Dying will be present at all six dates! But now it gets exciting again as we're back with the second wave!

New Band Announcement

As every year, keep in mind that the lineups at festival locations vary, so check the lineup for your desired location. For those planning to come to Leipzig, rejoice because Future Palace has been added to the Leipzig lineup! Mental Cruelty also got an upgrade and will be performing not only in Leipzig and Oberhausen but also in Vienna, Zurich, and Munich.

But now for the new bands. Heads up! One of Germany’s seminal metalcore bands, Callejon, will also come to Leipzig! Their latest album, Eternia from 2022, is sure to blast, and their live shows are always a party. Surely you can expect classics from their albums Wir Sind Angst and Blitzkreuz, perhaps even a few tracks to scream along to from their cover albums?

At the Impericon Festivals, of course, we can always use a lot more metalcore. So welcome Neaera in Leipzig and Oberhausen! The band from Münster will be on our stage for the first time. Excited to hear them? Then check out their self-titled album Neaera from 2020 and start with the song “Catalyst” to get a feel for their epic sound – headbanging is guaranteed.

Leipzig and Oberhausen will also host Thornhill, who started their career in distant Australia. At their performance, expect influences from alternative metal and progressive metalcore. Their latest album? Heroine from 2022. We recommend the track “Arkangel” for a listen, but definitely check out their debut album The Dark Pool as well!

Perhaps you’re not yet familiar with Thrown—unless you’ve stumbled upon one of their singles or the EP Extended Pain in recent years. The Swedish core band was only founded in 2020. Their singer, Marcus Lundqvist, was previously active with the Swedish hardcore band Grieved. Thrown’s song “grayout” from 2021 has particularly resonated with the community, even though it’s only two minutes long. If you’re in Leipzig, Zurich, Oberhausen, or Munich, you can experience this young band live and get swept up in the excitement!

And now for some really good news. Not only the American hardcore band Terror, but also Nasty and the young band Dying Wish from the USA will perform in all six cities! That covers everything from the hardcore scene. And that means the atmosphere is going to be intense!
