The annual Summer Breeze Festival is taking place from August 16th to 19th in Dinkelsbühl, Germany. This metal festival is among the largest in Germany, welcoming up to 40,000 metalheads each year. The running order for 2023 is now set, and we’re excited to share it with you!
If you haven’t got your tickets yet, the following details might just entice you to join the festival. Over four days from Wednesday to Saturday, a comprehensive lineup awaits you on four different stages. In addition to the Main Stage, there are the T-Stage, the Wera Tool Rebel Stage, and the Ficken Party Stage.
Lineup 2023 and Running Order

The festival kicks off on Wednesday afternoon with traditional brass music by Illenschwang, followed by Corvus Corax on the Main Stage. The evening will ramp up with more medieval rock from In Extremo and Brazilian metal from Sepultura, continuing into the night with late-night acts Nanowar of Steel and Capra.

On Thursday, there's something for Metalcore and Hardcore fans in the late afternoon with performances by Stick To Your Guns and Beartooth, who are likely to play a few songs from their new album. The day's headliner on the Main Stage is Trivium. And as we’ve recommended before, make sure to catch a late-night performance by Sleep Token at 1 AM. Don’t miss the masked group's performance, especially if you are a fan of their new album Take Me Back To Eden.
Friday brings you the headliner Powerwolf along with a wide variety of genres, from Dark Rock by Mono Inc. to Hardcore and Punk with Knocked Loose. The grand finale on Saturday lets you headbang to In Flames and party until 3 AM with acts like Zeal & Ardor and Perturbator, concluding the festival. But if you’re not done partying on Saturday, head back to the Party Stage on Tuesday, August 15th, where five more acts will perform!
