With two Instagram posts, Venom Inc. drummer Jeramie Kling may have outed himself as a new member of Slipknot. You can read the speculations behind it here!
Just a week ago, Slipknot announced that they have parted ways with their longtime drummer Jay Weinberg. He had been active with them since 2014 and has commented on the situation a few days ago on Instagram. This is a part of his message:
I was heartbroken and blindsided to receive the phone call that I did on the morning of November 5th; the news of which, most of you learned shortly after. However, I’ve been overwhelmed by — and truly grateful for — the outpouring of love and support I’ve received from this incredible community I consider to be my creative and artistic home.
After the initial shock, there are already rumors about who could be his successor.
Venom Inc. Drummer Leaves Band
If you look at Jeramie Kling's Instagram account, you will find a post announcing his departure from the band Venom Inc. In it, he shares his thanks for the great experiences he had with the band and on tour, and says goodbye to the Venom Inc. fans.
Of course, this alone is not a reason to assume that he will continue making music with Slipknot. The rumor comes from another image he posted before, which he deleted after just a few minutes. It showed the Slipknot logo with the caption:
"Drumming is simply a matter of timing.
Bring it to you.
Invite the chaos."
The post has long disappeared from Instagram, but you can still see screenshots of it on Reddit. Especially when Kling shortly after announced his departure from Venom Inc., it was clear to all fans that this could definitely be a mysterious revelation of the new Slipknot drummer. So it's worth keeping an eye on Kling's and Slipknot's Instagram accounts in the next few days. Especially because most hints of this kind are usually quickly taken down from the page.
