This is unprecedented! The complete lineup for both Rock am Ring and Rock im Park has just been announced all at once, including all the headliners. No one has to wait any longer; we're revealing right away who all will be performing.

Typically, the lineups for major festivals are announced gradually. First a few bands, then a few more, and finally the big headliners. Rock am Ring is one of the largest festivals in Germany, attracting up to 90,000 visitors at the Nürburgring. The Rock im Park Festival takes place simultaneously with the same lineup in the Volkspark in Nuremberg. But this year, things are a bit different. All bands have been announced at once, no exceptions. The entire list of acts is simply overwhelming when presented this way!

Which Bands are Playing at Rock am Ring 2024?

The festival is scheduled for the second weekend of June next year, from June 7-9. It's already clear which bands will play on which day. But who can we all look forward to?

The headliners, of course, stand out first. Right on the first day, there's a fierce mix of punk, rock, and metal. Die Ärzte are part of it, followed directly by Avenged Sevenfold and Queens of the Stone Age! Songs to sing out loud (“Junge” or “Schrei nach Liebe” perhaps?) and guitar riffs for headbanging are already guaranteed. Beartooth and Kreator will add even more metal, and there’s folk-punk with Dropkick Murphys.

On Saturday, the vibes continue as Green Day themselves bring a lot of energy and punk rock to the stage. Broilers follow up with even more punk from Düsseldorf and Billy Talent as the ultimate rock act tops it off. Tracks like “Fallen Leaves” are simply unmissable when played live! The same evening will definitely be wild, as the German combo Electric Callboy will hype up the crowd with their Schlager-metal vibes and party atmosphere. But that’s not all: Babymetal from Japan will deliver their unique performance, together with their newly joined dancer Momometal. Bad Omens, as a currently very sought-after band, will provide core input for the festival.

We have now reached the final day of the festival. A great surprise in the lineup are Måneskin, the Italian rock band from Rome, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 and have been gaining popularity ever since. Maybe you can experience their winning song “Zitti e buoni” live! Parkway Drive provides a nice contrast with their hard sound and potential for one mosh pit after another. Excited yet? Perfect, because Kraftklub is up next! This German group from Chemnitz is internationally renowned like few other German bands. If you can't go wild to that, what can you?

Perhaps to some of the other acts, as numerous strong artists will be on stage besides the headliners. Thy Art Is Murder, Landmvrks, and While She Sleeps are just a few examples from the metal genre. But as you can see for yourself, the entire lineup is just one highlight after another.

We are now even more excited for the next round at the Nürburgring! Are you?
